The role of the Stewardship Committee is a standing committee of the Administration Commission in order to advise the pastor on all matters pertaining to stewardship of time, talent, and treasure. The committee seeks way to educate and form members to live a life in appreciation for the gifts that God has bestowed upon us.
Each year the Stewardship Committee promotes and sponsors our annual community weekend which celebrates all the opportunities available to serve and be involved in the life of the parish. Each year hundreds of people commit their time and talents to further the mission of the church.
Another important role of the committee is to educate our parishioners in the importance of giving financially to support the work of the church. Stewardship of treasure is a spiritual discipline which is just as important as prayer to ones spiritual life. To give of one's first fruits is a recognition that all blessing in our lives comes from God.
The Stewardship Committee meets monthly throughout the year as is open to new members in September of each year. Please feel free to contact the committee if you are interested in being a member, have ideas for the parish, or have feedback on our current inititiatives.
