Our purpose is to serve as a ministry for mothers-fostering a community of fellowship, charity, and witnesses of our Catholic faith for our children and for the St. Ignatius Loyola community.
Playgroup
We meet Wednesdays at 10 am at a predetermined place or a mom’s house. It is a great time for our children to play and for fellowship among the moms.
Charitable Endeavors to the Community
Each quarter we perform at least one act of charity. We have collected material and fabric for Twin Angels Threads of Love, a ministry which provides gowns to babies born prematurely, and the children visit residents at the Cypresswood Atria assisted living community.
Bible Study/Spiritual Growth
Our Bible Study meets monthly in the evenings and the purpose is to help us discover and reflect upon Holy Scripture. We also meet for daily mass the first Friday of every month at 9 am and for all Holy Days. The nursery is provided.
Meals for New Moms
Our group will provide dinners for moms with new babies. This helps them to enjoy their new addition without having to worry about dinner!
Social Events
We have a Mom’s Night Out the first Friday of every month, and we have two family events each year that involve the entire family!
