Formation Commission Mission Statement
By the grace of God, we have been called to form disciples of Christ, who through life long faith formation and active participation in the Church help create a more loving and just world.
The Formation Commission of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Community includes: Formation from Early Childhood through Adult, RCIA, Youth Ministry, Children's Liturgy of the Word, Mother's Day Out, Nursery, Grace Disability Ministry and Vocations.
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are the heart of our ministry. We could not offer all we do without the time, talent and dedication of the many people who help throughout the year. Please consider joining this vital ministry. There are many ways in which teens and adults can help. Time commitment varies from occasional to weekly. Training and materials are provided. Please contact our office to learn the many ways in which you can participate.
Protecting God's Children
The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston requires all volunteers 18 and older to attend a "Protecting God's Children" session, which addresses sexual abuse. This training is mandated by the Archdiocese for adults who work with children on a regular ongoing basis.
