Good stewards know themselves to be recipients and caretakers of God’s many gifts.
They are grateful for what they have received and eager to cultivate their gifts out of love
for God and one another. (Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response)
Our Stewardship committee’s mission is to foster Stewardship, as A Way of Life in our parish faith community, whereby fulfilling our mission to be “A People for Others.”
With the help of the Holy Spirit, through the use of educational resources, parish retreatsand a festival of ministries, our parishioners can discern and reflect their gifts of time, talent and treasure.
Stewardship is an important concept for our growth as Catholics. Returning to God with increase is the practice of the Stewardship of Treasure; Regular giving is returning to God a portion of all that God has given us. Capital giving arises in the life of our parish community when we are called to give beyond our regular practice. Promoting spirituality through the Stewardship of Time; time in building our relationship with God, through prayer and reverence will take us to a higher level of spirituality and grace. Sharing unique talents and skills is the Stewardship of Talent, GIFTS we gratefully share in our ministries and in our communities.
Our parish community is blessed with engaged parishioners who have become stewards in many of the 80+ ministries represented by one of our 5 commissions.
