Wednesday, Dec. 25—10:00 a.m. (NO 5:15 p.m. Confessions and NO 6:45 p.m. Mass) The liturgies of Christmas make present the mystery of the birth of our Lord, the starting point of our salvation, the beginning of the Paschal Mystery, and the beginning of our never-ending song of joyful praise. We will celebrate this Solemnity with incense at the 10:00 a.m. Mass on Christmas Day.
While we normally make a profound bow at the words of the Creed, “by the Holy Spirit he was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man”, during the Christmas Masses we reverently go down on one knee at the reality of this awesome mystery. Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God - Jan. 1
