Saturday, November 2 – The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed
All Soul's Day is a day of remembrance for friends and loved ones who have passed away. We will celebrate Mass for All the Faithful Departed at 9:00 a.m. in the main church on Saturday, November 2nd. You are invited to bring framed pictured of your deceased loved ones to place in our Shrine of the Dead, which will be blessed at the liturgy on All Souls Day.
There will be NO Confessions on Saturday, November 2.
ALL SOULS ALTAR
Each year we remember our deceased loved ones in a special way during the month of November. We keep them in our prayers and remember that they also pray for us.
You are invited to bring framed photos of your deceased loved ones to place in our All Souls Altar which will be located in the narthex of the church. The altar will be blessed on All Souls Day, November 2nd and the photos will be displayed until the Solemnity of Christ the King, November 23rd/24th. (Keep in mind you may not want to bring irreplaceable treasures. A framed copy of your favorite photograph will do.)
Book of Remembrance
During the month of November, the church invites us to inscribe the names of our loved ones who departed this life over the past year into the Book of Life. You are invited to inscribe the names of your family members and friends who have died and were buried from another church after the Mass of All Souls Day or any time during the month of November.
