Children baptized in another Christian faith:
If your school aged child or teenager was baptized in the Protestant, Baptist, Pentecostal Holiness or other Christian tradition and you now wish to bring him or her into the Catholic faith, you must register your child in Formation. You will then receive information regarding an information session to be held in mid-Sept, for both the parent and child. For more information, contact Lucille Pavlock in the parish office.
Second Grade Students: If your child is in second grade and attended formation classes in first grade with excellent attendance, requirements for the final year of preparation include:
Note: If your second through fifth grade child did not attend Formation the previous year, they will need to enroll on their grade level this year in order to complete the first year of faith formation. The following year they will prepare and receive First Eucharist the following year.
Sixth Grade through High School: Requirements for children grades 6-12, who have been baptized Catholic, but have not received the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist include Regular attendance at Sunday Liturgy plus the following:
